Refund Policy

ensuring patient satisfaction. This refund policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be

issued for our services and products. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

1.1 Services

– Refund requests for dental services must be submitted within thirty (30) days from the date the service was provided.

– Refunds will only be considered if there is a demonstrable failure in the service provided, and the issue must be validated by a qualified dentist within our clinic.

– Refunds will not be provided for services that have been completed without any documented issues or complaints at the time of service.

1.2 Products

– Refund requests for dental products must be submitted within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase.

– Products must be returned in their original, unopened, and unused condition, along with the original packaging and receipt.

– Consumable items, such as toothpaste, mouthwash, and toothbrushes, are non-refundable if they have been opened or used.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

– Custom-made dental appliances (e.g., dentures, retainers, mouthguards) once fabrication has begun.

– Dental treatments that have been partially or fully completed.

– Special order items and sale items.

– Gift cards and vouchers.

3. Requesting a Refund

3.1 Services

– Full name and contact details.

– Date the service was rendered.

– Description of the service.

– Reason for the refund request.

Our team will review your request and respond within ten (10) business days. Additional

information or a follow-up consultation may be required to assess your request.

3.2 Products

To request a refund for products, please return the product to our clinic along with the original receipt. Alternatively, you may mail the product to:

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

4. Processing Refunds

– Once a refund request is approved, the refund will be processed and issued to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days for services.

– For products, refunds will be processed within ten (10) business days of receiving the returned product in acceptable condition.

 

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1 Cancellations by Happy Dental Sdn Bhd

– If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will make every reasonable effort to notify you as soon as possible.

– If a mutually convenient appointment cannot be agreed upon, and you have paid an advance fee, you will be refunded in full.

– Our maximum liability is limited to the refund of the advance payment fee only.

5.2 Cancellations by Patients

– You may cancel your appointment by providing at least 48 hours’ notice. If less than 48 hour’s notice is given, we reserve the right to withhold a portion of the fee to cover overhead costs.

– For Happy Dental appointments, different terms may apply as dictated by the Happy Dental Sdn Bhd Business Services Authority.

 

6. Discontinuation of Treatment

Patients may choose to discontinue treatment at any time. A notice period of fourteen (14) days is required, during which they will be eligible for a refund of any amount paid for treatment not yet performed.

 

7. Laboratory Work

For treatments involving laboratory work (e.g., crowns, bridges, dentures), if work has already commenced or been completed by the laboratory, a portion of the fee taken during the preparation appointment will be retained to cover the cost of the laboratory invoice. If no fee

was taken during the preparation appointment, the patient will be liable for the full laboratory fee. The laboratory invoice will be provided for reference.

acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this refund policy.
